Carl was a retired Air Force Veteran and was the owner and operator of Hunter-Jackson Plumbing Company. He had many hobbies, some of which included clock building and restoration, the lake house and spending Wednesday mornings with the “OFG” coffee group at the S. P. Waltrip Masonic Lodge.
Carl is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Cathy Switzer of kansas City, MO, Cindy Willis of College Station, TX, Caryn Haley of Montgomery, TX, Carl E. Jackson, Jr. of Wichita Falls, TX, Jeff Bryant and Keith Bryant, both of Houston, TX; 14 grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Ward of Houston, TX.
The family will receive visitors from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 20, 2010 at Waltrip Funeral Directors. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday in the Waltrip Chapel. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Grapeland, TX.
