Mike was a very sweet, caring person, always concerned about those around him; (and always concerned whether his music-playing was too loud for us upstairs - which it never was - we quite enjoyed it). Our thoughts and prayers are with Susan and the rest of Mike's family.

There are memories in our past that makes us who we are as people you were an inspiration to me even as a young child. I can remember when aunt Nina use to take you to your music lessons. Then it only seemed it was something to do to me, but in fact mom and dad rea;;y knew as they always do that your talents would some day reach the hearts of so many people. I am sorry we were not able to be closer than we were, but there is one thing that will always stay in my mind and heart is the song you wrote when you went to Donelson Church of Christ  GOD is my co-pilot and you lived what you put into music. Michael was the best baby in our family.
He had his own crib to play and sleep in
but when he started crying aunt Billie
would take him out of his crib and rock
him. He was a joy.

I wish I could be there to hug you all. It's beeen way to long since I've seen all of you. My heart goes out to all of you and I am praying that God will send you comfort and peace. Michael's musical talent was always an encouragement to me. He was an amazing pianist. Today I will play a song in his memory. It makes me smile to think he could be playing a song for the Lord. -"He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds. He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite. Psalms 147:3-5

To the Family: I love you all! May Michael rest with God and may the rest of us stand firm in the comfort only the Holy Spirit can give. Here's one of my poems for you:

A tremendous loss to our wonderful family. Michael always had a beaming smile on his face and kind words of encouragement to all. 
What a beautiful talent God gave to him - and he put it to such a wonderful use. 
As young children, we lived on the same street and he used to yell out from his yard "Allison, come plaaaay with me". Those were some really good times. I love you Michael, I will truly miss you.
