Can Huy Le

Can Huy Le (10/20/1947 - 01/21/2023) entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2023.

Can was born in Nam Dinh, Vietnam in 1947 to Le danh Cuu and Thinh ty Thep. He joined the Vietnamese Air Force at the age of 18 where he served for 10 years and achieved the rank of Captain. In 1975, Can came to America to work as a translator for the US military in Guam. This was also the year he met and married Giap le Nhat. In the fall of 1979, Le Linh Phuong, their daughter and first child was born. 2 years later in the beginning of 1982, Le Huy Vu, their son was born. As a devoted catholic, Can and Nhat were highly active in his parish community at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church.

For over 40 years Can worked at Quiet Flex Manufacturing as a superintendent and engineer. He was one of longest employees at Quiet Flex, where he was known as “Employee #3”. As a devoted catholic, faith was incredibly important to Can. He and his wife Natalie were highly active in their parish community at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church. He would serve as a sound engineer, eucharistic minister, and devoted as much time as he could to assist the church in any way.

Can was also an avid gardener, handyman, home improvement guru, foodie, and movie aficionado. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved playing with his 4 grandchildren, telling jokes, sharing stories of his life, and quoting his favorite lines from movies and tv.

We’ll miss Can’s laughter, his compassion, his humility, his strength, and his guidance. Most of all, we’ll miss his comforting smile. In his last moments, he was surrounded by family and passed peacefully at home.

He’ll never be forgotten and will always be loved.
