He is preceded in death by his mother, Josephine Watson Helton; his father, Leslie Parke Helton; and his sister, Leslie Helton Richards. Wayne is survived by his devoted wife, Joey Canerday Helton; his daughter, Caroline Helton Thomasec; and his brother, Michael Helton.
A memorial mass is to be offered at four o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 21st of April, at St. Michael Catholic Church, 1701 Sage Road in Houston.
