C B Bogan

He was preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Ora Lena Bogan, One brother James and his sister Sophia; and his one daughter Evelyn. CB was born on February 11, 1938, in Wharton, Texas to the late Clifton and Ora Lena Bogan. He was the first sibling of four. As a young man, he loved sports, dominoes, and learning about working on automobile.

CB was united in Holy Matrimony for 58 years to Gloria Jean Tipton on December 22, 1965. In this union, there was three sons, C, Kevin, and Vernon.

CB at an early age, was baptized at Shiloh Baptist Church in New Gulf Texas. When he was not at Church or working to support the family, he attended the public-school systems and Wharton County Junior System.

CB at the early age love to work on automobile after leave Wharton County Junior College. He started working at Lone Star Car Company as the Head Mechanic until the company dissolved in the 1973. He became a successful business owner in 1973 until he became ill (2017).

CB was a devoted husband and a caring father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Gloria, his daughters, Elaine, Diane, his sons, Clifford (Angel), C Bogan (Sheila), Kevin, and Vernon (Rene’a), two brothers, Roosevelt (Ann), Edward (Justine), two sisters, Willie Lee Spradley and Katherine Robinson. A host of grandchildren great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
