Buddy Gardner, also known to family and friends as Guero, Salt, and Brother Buddy, was born on October 8, 1976 in Houston, Texas and went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 11, 2024. He was born to Charles Buddy Gardner and Amanda Ethel Gardner.
Buddy was the youngest of his eight siblings, Margie, Larry, Bonnie, Brenda, Glenda, Debbie, and David. He was the husband to Melinda Gardner and father of three children, Jacelle, Nathan, and Desirey. He had multiple nephew and nieces that dearly loved him as well. From a young age, Buddy was known to be creative, caring, bold, outspoken, and not afraid of anything. Buddy liked to spend his time drawing, making homemade birthday cards, grilling, working on his truck, and making beautiful artwork out of wood. Buddy was passionate about singing and sung rock, country, spanish, rap, and songs of worship. He loved to put on a show, tell stories, and fill a room with laughter with his jokes. Buddy had a way with words and was very clever in his poetry. He was never afraid to speak his mind and stand up for what he believed in. Buddy was always proud of who he was and took pride in where he was from. He will always be remembered for his boldness, strength, bravery, and love for others.
He will be dearly missed. We will always love you and miss you dad.
A visitation for Buddy will be held Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Thursday, March 21, 2024 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Brookside Memorial Park.
