Brian Christopher Dobbins, 28 years old, passed away Thursday October 4, 2012 at his home in Houston.
Brian graduated from Westside High School in 2003. He excelled in playing football and had many friends. His love of hunting and fishing were a passion of his, and he enjoyed many exotic trips to pursue such.
Brian is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill and Dorothy Dobbins, his aunt Diane Dobbins, and cousin Christine Dobbins. Brian is survived by his parents, Terry and Sandy Dobbins of Houston; his beloved sister Brooke Dobbins; his uncle and aunt Blake and Teresa Dobbins of San Antonio; uncle and aunt Rodney and Debbie Gamble of Austin; and cousins Matt Gamble, Mark Gamble, James Gamble, and Mitchell Dobbins.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the SPCA of Houston in which Brian strongly believed in the work they do for our four legged friends. Donations can be sent to: Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, Texas 77024. The service will be held Tuesday October 9 at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery Chapel at 12:30 pm, officiated by the Reverend Melvin Gray.
