Brenda J. Makovy, age 74 years, of Conroe, Texas entered into rest on May 15, 2024. She was born in Houston, Texas on December 20, 1949 to parents, Andrew Thomas Curtis and Ruby Alma Robertson-Quinton.
Brenda graduated from C.E. King High School. She met Edward in school and married on January 6, 1967. Brenda had a career in insurance at Brady, Chapman & Holland for 15+ years. She was a member of H2U and hobbies included gambling and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward L. Makovy of 42 years; parents, Andrew T. Curtis & Ruby A. Robertson-Quinton and Step-father, Raymond Quinton; sister, Phyllis Elaine Davis and brother, Alan Craig Quinton.
Brenda’s memory will be cherished by her survivors, Sonja Whiting her husband, Harold Glen Whiting Sr; Grandchildren, Kindell Reynolds and husband Caleb Reynolds, Sr., Harold Glen Whiting, Jr., wife Briana Whiting; Great-Grandchildren, Caleb Reynolds, Jr., Kailyn Reynolds, Caiden Reynolds; Sister-in-law, Lydia Goins-Blackwell and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Serving as pallbearers are, Harold Glen Whiting Sr., Harold Glen Whiting Jr., Jeff Davis, Darryl Davis.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are, Tony Davis, and Caleb Reynolds Jr.
