Brandy Hidalgo Vargas

Brandy settled down in Houston, TX, where she started her family. She was a two-time survivor of

non-Hodgkins lymphoma, but she made sure to treasure her children, her friends, and her family more than

anything else in the world. Brandy loved and lived life to the fullest, and anyone who knew her knows she lived life through the lens of a camera, capturing love and beauty all around her.

Brandy Vargas is survived by Martha Baylor, her mother; Adrienne Thomas, her sister; Erika Thomas, her

sister-in-law; Asher Vargas, Seth Vargas, Nicholas Vargas, and Valerie Vargas, her children; Kaitlyn Vargas,

her daughter-in-law; Christopher Vargas and Brooklyn Vargas, her grandchildren; as well as Loghan Thomas, Braden Thomas, and Kellen Thomas, her nephews, and many other family members and friends.

Brandy was preceded in death by her father, Richard Hidalgo.

A service for Brandy will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, at 4 pm at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress
