Bobby Jack Lennon

Bob and his family moved to Houston Heights at a very young age. He married Velma Raney in 1960 and they remained married until her death in 1995. Bob dedicated his life to raising his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Susie Raney House and her husband Kurt, his son Mike Raney and wife Beverly, granddaughter Kelly Morrison and her husband Mike, granddaughter Ashely House Jones and her husband Bryan, granddaughter Megan Raney, great granddaughters Sara and Taylor Morrison and numerous other special relatives and friends.

Bob was employed by the Westech Corporation of Houston for over 35 years as a gear specialist repairing and building gear boxes for ocean going vessels. He worked extremely long hours to ensure his family had everything they needed.

Bob loved to spend time with his family and friends; particularly hunting and visiting Kurt and Susie’s ranch in Three Rivers Texas.

His family will miss his generous and loving spirit and his unique ability to entertain us in his very special way!

The family will greet friends Friday afternoon May 23, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Forest Park Lawndale funeral home followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 pm.

A special thanks from the family also to his niece Patty Herring for her many years of friendship, support and caregiving.

In Lieu of flowers the family asked those to give to their charity of choice. May God Bless.
