Bobby Andrade, at the age of 93 went to join his beloved wife of 67 years, Amelia C. in heaven on Sunday, December 13, 2020. Bobby was born on May 20th in 1927 to Doroteo and Juanita Andrade in Houston, Texas. Bobby served in World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the US Army. He worked as a machinist for 20 years. He later worked as an event coordinator in the Astro domain, then in his final years before retiring he worked in the Houston’s Municipal Courthouse as a city clerk as well as in the archives. Once he retired, he became very active and involved in his church as a Deacon and volunteered to serve his community in The Heights Interfaith Ministries food pantry. He is preceded by Victor and Nick Andrade (Brothers); first wife Guadalupe Martinez, Bobby Andrade (Son), Jane Rendon (Daughter); and Eddie A. Andrade (Grandson). Survived by his sisters, Janie Andrade and Lucy Barajas, his sons Andrew, Eddie M, and Timothy C. and daughter Lydia C. Andrade. Visitation for Bobby will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heights Funeral Home, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. A celebration of life service will occur Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 9:00 AM, 1317 Heights Blvd, Houston, Texas 77008. A committal service will follow at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, Texas 77038. In lieu of flowers the family is asking to send donations to National Veterans Outreach American GI Forum in his memory.
