Bob Ed Allen, who was 95 years old, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024, in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Allen, father Leroy Edgar Allen, mother Robbie Gertrude Allen, and sisters Mildred Kropp and Evelyn Judy.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Sarah Carolyn Allen, and several nieces and nephews. He attended the University of Arkansas before joining the United States Air Force, where he served as a radar technician in Japan during the Korean War. Bob was most known for his love of flying and his time spent as a pilot, often taking trips with his friends.
A visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home - Champions, located at 3410 Cypress Creek Parkway, Houston, TX 77068. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
