Mr. Billy Ray Wilson, age 81, of Porter, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at his home. He was born July 18, 1932 in Athens, Texas. Survivors include wife, Susan Wilson; daughters, Deborah Hrncir, Sandy Bryant, Linda Vann; sons, Mike Wilson, Mike Reynolds; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Norma Scholomonga, Karen Chitwood; brother, John Wayne Wilson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Dessie Wilson; sons, Billy Ray Wilson Jr. and Billy Reynolds; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Wilson, Ruthie Lamberth; brothers, Bobby Wilson and Danny Wilson. Funeral services for Mr. Billy Ray Wilson will be held Friday, June 27, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Forest Park Lawndale Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
