He was born June 13, 1936 in Centralia, Texas to parents Eldred Tullos and Johnnie (Beatrice) Carswell-Tullos. Billy was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved him. He retired from the Houston Belt & Terminal Railroad after 36 years of service.
He is survived by children: Allen Ray Tullos and his wife Belinda of Rusk, TX, Teresa Ann Tullos of Pigeon Falls, WI and Johnny Floyd Tullos and his wife Darby of Tarkington, TX; grandchildren: Lori Jo Carroll of Holman, WI, Michael Shane Tullos and his wife Cheyenne of Centralia, TX, Cheyanne Miller and her husband Michael of Gallatin, TX, Jade Pope and her husband Skylar of Woodlands, TX and Mitchel Levi Tullos of Houston, TX; great grandchildren: Tia Carroll, Isaiah Carroll, Travis Shane Tullos, Olive Tullos and Kali Avalos; brother Joe Bob Tullos and his wife Linda Jo of Apple Springs, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Billy is preceded in death by wife Gloria Nell Tullos, parents, and brothers: Jimmy Levi Tullos and Lynn E. Tullos.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, December 21, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grand Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
