Billy Burris Parson

Butch was born on May 2, 1940, in Houston to Emma Sue and Burris Brown Parson. He grew up in the Heights and graduated from Reagan High School in 1958. Butch always lived in the present and lived life to the fullest. He had a passion for golf and served as the army golf pro in Okinawa, as well as the pro at Pine Forest Country Club. Butch never met a stranger, and he could entertain a room full of people no matter the occasion. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He was reunited in Heaven with his mother, father, and two brothers-in-law.

Butch’s Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m. at the Heights Funeral Home in Houston. His friends and family are invited to lunch immediately following the service at the Cadillac Bar and Grill at 1802 Shepherd Drive.
