Billy Earl Lewis was born on May 22 1959 to the Late Harvey and Dorothy Lewis of Houston, Tx. He was the fourth of five children to this union which included Peggy Lynn Richard, Donald Wayne Lewis(deceased), Harvey A Lewis Jr. (deceased) and Jacqueline Gwenette Peyton.

Billy was an avid Food Network watcher, a jack of all trades when it came to fixing things. He loved to collect watches and speakers, and before his illness he was known to be starched and ironed when dressing (which was one of his favorite sayings).
He leaves to cherish his memory Peggy Richard (Homer Richard), Jacqueline Peyton (Larry Peyton) Niccole Martin (Pierre Martin) Justin Lewis (April Lewis) Jeremiah Peyton, Sarah Peyton and a host of great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends.
