Billy D. Helton, 80, died peacefully on Dec. 25, 2015 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Billy was born on Jan. 13, 1935 in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, and two sons, James Robert and Randall Scott. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Janine E. Helton; son, Daniel Jay Helton (wife Ruyting) and son Darrell E. Helton; sister, Ms. Eula Stanford of Mount Vernon, Missouri; grandchildren, Madison, Stephen, Stephanie and Jason along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful cat companions Oskar and Ginger.

Billy has been in the pest control business in Houston since 1978 and opened his own business in 1983. He retired in 2003.

A memorial service will be held at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at 11:00am.
