Billy Samuel Barrett, died Monday, February 28, 2011 in Houston, TX. He was born February 19, 2011 in Temple, TX to Minnie Lee Barrett and Eli Samuel Barrett.
He graduated from Texas A&M and was a proud Aggie. He was the first member of his family to graduate college and was able to do so with the help of the GI Bill after proudly serving in the US Army, where he was honorably discharged as a Captain.
Mr. Barrett is survived by his daughters Edrie Garcia and her husband, Frank, JoAnn Hughes and her, husband Bill; son Billy Walker Barrett; grandchildren Frankie, Ryssa and Nicholas Garcia; Kyle Golson and his wife, Tamara; Ben Golson; and Jamie Moore and her husband, Robert; sister Betty Ann Donaldson; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024.
