Billie Sue Greer

She was born in Rosevine, Texas on Sept.20, 1929.

She graduated from Hemphill High School in Texas in 1946, and Tyler Commercial College in Tyler, TX in 1948. She received a Business Degree.

She was married to Carl T. Greer on May 1, 1949.

They were married almost 75 years.

She had a career as the Executive Secretary for Precision Well Logging, Inc. and worked there with her husband, Carl, for 56 years (1960-2016).

Billie was a member of the Memorial Church of Christ for 42 years, but a faithful believer of God and Jesus for many years before that.

She had a passion for church, family, friends, serving others, gardening, cooking, and hosting people in her home.

Billie is survived by her husband, Carl Greer; her children, Jan (Greer) Schlotzhauer & her husband, Ed; Teresa (Greer) Alford & her husband, Buddy; and Dan Greer & his wife, Kim; 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Evelyn (Boyd) Taylor.

Funeral arrangements will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Church of Christ, 900 Echo Ln, Houston, TX 77024. Following the funeral service, there will be a graveside service from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060.
