Beverly Ann Sowell-Marsh was born on September 22nd, in Houston, TX to the proud parents of Vera Nell Owens and James Vernon Jackson. She found Christ at an early age. She graduated from Forest Brook High School in 1980. She loved to travel with her family a fountain of knowledge and a devoted mother, grandmother, niece and cousin. She found joy in her family and spending time with her family.
Beverly’s biggest accomplishment in life was her family and her faith in the Lord. She loved helping others when she could and give advice when needed. Beverly was very big in decorating, helping with her church, St. Paul AME and being a good friend and mother to all. She has been a strong in her faith and demonstrated compassion, forgiveness and love through her actions. Through adversity, she has never let it slow her down and she would still send love and prayers to all.
Beverly was preceded in death by her father, James Vernon Jackson, and sister, Bobbie Jackson. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Vera Nell Owens, her husband, Randolph Marsh, two lovely daughters, Tia Sowell and Amaris Marsh; one son, Kenneth Sowell (Alma); thirteen grandchildren, Journi, Khamron, Khamri, James, Jade, Kenneth III, Kayla, Kaitlynn, Brandi, Brandon, Byron, Christian, Henry two brothers, Roderick Johnson, Elijah Marshall, and Larry Jackson; and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, extended family and friends.
