Beverly Lindsey Moore

Beverly Lindsey Moore, the beautiful and blessed child of the late Mack and Ruby Lindsey, was born December 13, 1956 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Beverly was nurtured and schooled in the community of Heidelberg, Mississippi where she graduated from Heidelberg High School in 1975. She continued her education at Jones Junior College where she received an associate’s degree. She put her hand in God’s hand and was baptized at an early age in the Shady Grove Baptist Church, in Heidelberg. Beverly was united in marriage to her loving and devoted husband Gregory L. Moore on August 16, 1980. This devoted and loving wife departed this life on October 25, 2017, at 7:37 A.M. at North Cypress Medical Center, Cypress, Texas listening to a recording of “Sweet Little Jesus Boy” being sung by one of her favorite people, Gregory’s aunt Mary Haynes. Beverly was preceded in death by her brother Rufus Ray (Randy) Lindsey, sisters Maxine Gaines and Orange Lindsey. Her interests included family, gardening, sewing, reading, exercising and gourmet cooking. Beverly leaves to cherish her memories brothers Marvin Lindsey (Patricia), Sandersville, Mississippi and Joseph Lindsey (Grace), Bay Springs, Mississippi; sisters Joyce Thompson, Heidelberg, Mississippi; her mother-in-law Alfolonia Moore; Greg’s Aunt Mary Haynes, 2 brothers-in-law Stanley L. Moore and Charles L. Moore, II; 2 sisters-in-law Iris M. McGee (Carl) and Janis Y. Moore; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
