Beverly Chimene Cormier

BEVERLY (ADKINS) CHIMENE CORMIER Of Houston passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023 peacefully in her home. She was born On January 27, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Willie Kyle and Agnes (Caletka)Adkins. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Post 8905, and a lifetime member of the Nation Home Gardening Club since 2012. She loved her family like no other and the pride and love she had for her grandchildren cannot be put into words. Gardening was her passion and her smile would light up any room. She will be greatly missed by all the people whose lives she touched, especially those she leaves behind. Beverly is preceded in death by her Father Willie Kyle, Her mother Agnes, her husband TJ Cormier Jr.

She leaves behind her Daughter Heather Chimene Gauthreaux, Her son-in-law Dell Gauthreaux, Her granddaughter Lainey Nichole Chimene, Grandson Breauxdy Jason Gauthreaux, Sister Judith Ann Bell, Brothers Michael Adkins and Steven Kyle Adkins, Sister-in-law Barbara Guillory, Brother -in-law Danny Cormier, Sister-in-law Rosalie Cormier, Sister-in-law Sue James and husband Jimmy, and various nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Monday July 31, 2023 from 4 -8pm at the funeral home. Service will be held on Tuesday August 1, 2023 at 12pm in the funeral home chapel. She will be laid to rest at a future date with her husband TJ at the Houston National Cemetery.
