Beverly Ann Charles

Beverly Ann Charles, 81, departed this life May 6, 2023, in her home in Houston, Texas where she lived for the past eighteen years relocating there after Hurricane Katrina. She was born March 12, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Jesse Charles and Irma (Wilson) Charles. Ms. Charles was a retired Paraprofessional Educator who worked thirty-three years for the Orleans Parish School Board. She was also a proud and active member of the United Teachers of New Orleans (UTNO) serving as an advocate for Paras. She leaves behind to cherish her memories children: Lloyd E. Dright, Jr., Christine D. Jones, Colette Dright and Suzanne D. Ladmirault; her beloved grandchildren: Kyle and Keith Jackson Jr., Domonique Dright, Alexis Dright, Kristi Jones, Ashley and Taj Dright and Toi Senegal, Alvin Segue, and Melanie, Michael and Troy Ladmirault, Jr. as well as great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Don Marie D. Jackson. Son-in laws: Keith Jackson, Sr., Tyrus Jones, Sr., Troy A. Ladmirault, Sr. and grandchildren: Lloyd Dright, III., Tyrus Jones, Jr., and Major Dright.
