Betty Sue’s college education began at Bethany–Peniel College and was completed at West Texas State College in 1959. During that time Betty Sue married Charles H Williamson and had 3 children: David, Janice and Robert all of whom predeceased Betty Sue.
Betty Sue spent many years teaching elementary school where her love of children was evident. A portion of her teaching was on a Navajo Reservation where she grew close to many Navajo children. In the Nazarene Church Betty Sue loved serving the Lord by singing, playing piano and teaching.
The Lord called Betty Sue home July 22, 2019.
She is survived by grandson David Michael Williamson (son of Robert), his children Wyatt and Norah, and daughter-in-law Sherri Williamson (David’s mother); many close loved ones from HFC, including Sue's Angels, Barb & Dave Muller, Kim Hyslop, Paul & Viviana Ford, Diane Graves, Brett & Jayme Donaldson, Jim & Debby Hollowell, Jack & Mary McGinnis, Sue & Lonni Cox, Melissa and Randy Meekes.
