Betty "Tinsie" Georgia (Schiller) Tice

Betty was born in Houston, Texas to Ben and Elizabeth Schiller on December 21, 1944. She attended Smiley High School and graduated Class of 1963. Soon after she married, Daniel T. Tice Sr. "Dan" on June 7, 1963.

Betty worked for the City of Houston and then retired in 2003.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; brother (Benjamin Schiller); sister (Mary Ann Akers) and many other Family and Friends.

Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, (Dan Tice); 2 children: son, (Daniel Tice Jr. and his wife Raelynn); and daughter, (Susan Tice); brother, (Joseph Schiller "Joe"); 5 grandchildren, (Jesse Tice, Joshua Perez, Gracie Perez, Reed Tice & Logan Tice); and 1 great-granddaughter, (Oaklynn Tice).

A visitation for Betty will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A graveside service will occur Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
