Betty Ray Smith, 84, passed away, Thursday, July 18, 2013. Mrs. Smith is 1946 graduate of Sam Houston High School. She was an avid gardener. Also, she loved roses, pink and yellow. She is survived by her husband Robert Bruce Smith, sons; Gary Paul Smith and Wade Andrew Smith and his wife Rocio, daughter, Lee Ann Smith, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, July 22, 2013, from 5pm to 8pm at the Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek. The funeral is scheduled for Tuesday 10:30am at Brookside Funeral Home Cypress Creek. Interment Houston National Cemetery.
