Betty Grubbs Fulton Sharp, was born March 25, 1947. She passed away on May 16, 2013, in Houston, Texas, after a long multi-year health struggle. She is survived by her sister Carolyn Cecil and brother-in-law Tommy G. Hall.
Betty believed that life is a journey and she made the most of hers. She had a fantastic sense of humor, a great laugh, and positive no-quit attitude. When life gave her lemons, she turned them into lemonade. She was a fashionista: presentation and great style were important to her. She loved all animals, her church, and her friends. She was a loyal and good friend. Just as Betty learned much from her friends, she taught others much about life and The Journey. She was a role model for courage, resiliency, and love. The end of her journey was peaceful. All who knew her are blessed with wonderful life-changing memories.
There will be a private family service at graveside Monday morning at 10:00 AM at Forest Park Lawndale. Please enter the main cemetery entrance (not the chapel and offices). Look for the signs designating Betty Sharp and the color code for directions to the gravesite. Follow the colored arrows.
A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, May 20, at the Vineyard Church, 5015 Grove West in Stafford, TX 77477.
