Betty Summers Mann passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2023. She was a native Houstonian and graduated from Texas Christian University in 1958. She was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority at TCU and remained an active member after graduating.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Hurschel Leland Mann, Jr, and her brother, John Lloyd Summers, Jr.
She is survived by her sons Anthony Mann and Joseph Mann, and his wife Cathy, along with her grandchildren Lloyd Mann and Samantha Mann. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Janice (Deedee Summers, niece Dulce Summers, and nephews, Michael Summers and John Summers III.
Donations to the Delta Gamma Foundation or Cal Farley's Boy's Ranch may be made in lieu of flowers.
A committal service for Betty will be held Friday, December 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
