Betty Hunt

Our beloved Momma, Gae Gae, Queenie and Betty Boo went to be with our Lord July 11, 2014. Born September 6, 1920 in Fort Worth Texas to Arthur Gribble and Etta Johnson.Betty is survived by her children Robert Paradise, Betty Downey and Carol Leonard.

She leaves a legacy of 10 Grandchildren; Bridget Downey, James (Jimmy) Downey, Tammy Hilsher, Lana Wornardt, Charles Robinson, Ginger Paradise, Jaymie Brunskill, Brad Boutwell, Chad (Matt ) Boutwell , Craig Boutwell and 19 Great Grandchildren.She is preceded in death by husband and friend Fred Hunt, “The love of her life” Wyatt Sidwell and daughter Cheryl Robinson.

Betty is lovingly remembered for her bright smile that could light up a room, her sparkling green eyes and probably some of the best legs around as our dear daddy would always say. She loved to sing, to dance and boy did she have some stories to tell, some favorites being living down the street from Bonnie and Clyde’s hideout and her daddy’s bathtub gin. The hobbies she enjoyed were bowling, playing bingo and daily long walks around the neighborhood. She was a member of The Young and The Restless fan club and traveled to their yearly Galas in California until she became too ill to do so. She had strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and was a devoted member of Epiphany Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir for many years.

She was loved by all and will be missed by many. She was so proud of her BIG family and shared her love for all with laughter and abundance. The memories we will share to celebrate her life will last us a life time.Good Bye sweet Gae Gae now Heaven has another beautiful angel.
