Betty Sue Flowers

Betty Sides Flowers, 74, entered eternal rest on August 21, 2020. She was born May 10, 1946 in Maydell, Texas where she graduated from Maydell High School. Betty was a member of the National Fallen Firefighters Association. She founded the NCVFD Women’s Aux. Betty and Charles, Sr. were very proud supporters of NCVFD until he was called home in 2003. Betty will forever be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Charles Flowers, Sr.; mother: Lillie Melzora Collins; fathers: T.H. Sides; step-mother: Claire Sides; daughter: Ruth Ann Flowers; granddaughter: Misty Flowers; brothers: Harold Sides and Calvin Downs; son in law: Edward L. Martin, Sr.

Left to cherish her loving memory, daughters: Gay Lynn James (Alto, Texas) and Benita Flowers (Conroe, Texas); son: Charles Flowers, Jr. (Conroe, Texas); grandchildren: Edward Martin, Jr., Justin Martin, and Bryson Flowers; 6 great grandchildren; sisters: Jan McGarity (Alto, Texas) and Jean Sides (Alto, Texas); brothers: Tommy Sides (Alto, Texas) and Wayne Sides (Alto, Texas).
