Betty graduated from Davis High School in 1948 where she was a member of the Carlton Cadettes. She was a long-time member of Lindale Baptist Church, and was involved in Eastern Star. She always participated in her children’s school activities, and was known for her excellent cooking and baking skills. Betty was an exceptional seamstress, and made beautiful clothes for herself, her children, and grandchildren. “Aunt Betty” as referred to by her loving nieces and nephews, will always be remembered for the Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations she hosted. Betty is loved by many relatives, as well as dear friends who will miss her greatly.
We know Betty is looking down on us from Heaven, surrounded by her precious dogs – especially her beloved Shawn, who was the light of her life.
Due to the family’s concern of Covid, a celebration of Betty’s life will be held at a later date.
