Betty Roach Crumpler

Betty was born to Lewis Olis Roach and Sidney May Southerland on June 9, 1935 in Eddy, Texas. Betty was the youngest child in the family of nine children (8 girls and 1 boy). She was preceded in death by all her siblings and was the last survivor of her generation. She raised 3 sons: Michael Doyle Landers, Brian Keith Landers and Philip Wade Landers.

Betty had a natural born outgoing personality that was a joy to be around. She always had a smile for visitors and the nurses at the nursing home. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and laugh and dance and sing.

Betty was a member of the Pearland Church of Christ. Christ called Betty to her heavenly home on December 7, 2023, at the age of 88 and 6 months. Words cannot express how much she was loved or how much she will be missed, but we know that she is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Services will be held at the graveside of Forest Park Funeral Home at 6900 Lawndale in Houston on December 15, 2023 at 10am where she will be laid to rest.
