Beatrice (Bobbi) Akins Bennett, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on December 14, 2024. She was a member of the Tri-County Fundamental Baptist Church and was steadfast in her faith.
Bobbi was born May 24, 1943 to Beatrice and Horace Akins in Portal, GA. The youngest of 12 children, she always said her brothers and sisters indulged her and was so grateful to have had such a wonderful family.
She had a passion for reading and animals, having had three dogs, all named Cheebee, as well as a number of cats. She also loved fixing hair and makeup and one of the best days of her life was when she graduated from beauty school. She enjoyed crochet and crafts. Once her grandson was born, her focus switched to spoiling him rotten for 18 years until he joined the USMC and made her even prouder.
Bobbi is survived by her daughter, Gina Bonefas, son-in-law, Greg Bonefas and her grandson, Jason Bonefas. She is also survived by two of her sisters, Sally Deal and Babs McNure, both of Georgia.
