Baudelia Hinojosa Trevino age, 71 passed away on January 24, 2018 in Katy, Texas. She was born in Beeville, Texas on April 16, 1946 to Oliverio Gonzales Hinojosa and Maria Louisa Hinojosa. She was married to Manuel Maldonado Trevino. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She devoted herself to her family, home and friends. Always strong and faithful in her beliefs as a Jehovah’s Witness. She was the oldest of eleven children. Best described in quotes from siblings; “She was my high heal stepping sister, loved her dearly and always will.”(ch) “She was like a second mother to me.”(gh) “She took over where my mom left off.”(mh) “As the big sister she was always looking out for us with the perfect advice.”(mah) “Most wonderful big sister.”(ph) “Always there when we needed her, was everything in life.”(jh) At 15 she started working in the family restaurant, where she worked most of her life. She was doing what she loved most, cooking and feeding others. No matter the event, big or small you would find her in the kitchen cooking up a storm. If she was called, day or night, she never hesitated. She was always there ready to help and do whatever was needed. Mother always made herself available. She always put other people’s needs first. She was always full of life playing, dancing and singing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Oliverio Gonzales Hinojosa, mother Maria Louisa Hinojosa, Sister Aurora (Dora) Villareal, Brothers Oliver (Vive) Hinojosa and Luis Hinojosa.
She is survived by her husband Manuel Maldonado Trevino. Also survived by her three children: Roxanne Yvette Sarabia and husband Angelo; Manuel Lee Trevino; Norma Jean Tipton and husband Kevin. Two grandchildren: Alfonso S Ortiz III and Amron Jovanni Tipton. Two great-grandchildren: Jade Serenity Ortiz and Parker Joseph Tipton. Two sisters: Maria Anna Harper and Maria Hinojosa. Five brothers: Chris Hinojosa, Paul Hinojosa, Fernando Hinojosa, Julian Hinojosa and Gilbert Hinojosa.
Ps. MOM, you have been a pillar of strength. You have always shown us everlasting love through all our years. We hope that we will be just as strong and loving as you were all your life. We love you with all our hearts and you will always live within us.
