Dr. Barbara B. Wright

Dr. Barbara B. Wright, 77, passed away on November 12, 2010. She and twin brother, Barron Harris, were born to Marvin and Leila Harris on January 19, 1933. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, C.E. Wright. She is survived by a daughter, Beverly W. Daniel and husband, Gary F. Daniel; a sister, Alice Sanders and two brothers, Barron H. Harris and Jimmy H. Harris. Barbara loved God and began in ministry at an early age. She attended Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and received her Ph.D. from Cornerstone University in Lake Charles, LA. She was the founder and Pastor of Immanuel Temple and President and founder of Immanuel Temple School of the Bible. Barbara was a pastor, teacher, mother and friend to many through the years. She helped many ministers begin and helped bring restoration to many who had lost their way. Special thanks are given to all the members, students, friends and family who have prayed and given words of encouragement during this time. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 20, 2010, 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home.
