Barbara Robinson Wells

She was born September 17, 1927 to parents C.L. Swearer and Helen Bohme Swearer in Miami, Florida. Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children: Royce Wells and his wife Pam and Joyce Burcomb and her husband Michael; grandchildren: Kyra Chapman and her husband Patrick, Karly King and her husband Jeremy, Kacey Wilkins and her husband Ben, Aaron Burcomb and Sebastian Burcomb; great grandchildren: Isiah Wilkins, Jonah Wilkins, Meredith King and Megan King; and brother Edward Swearer and his wife Shirley and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Barbara is preceded by her parents, husband Thurman Louis Wells and siblings: Willis Swearer, Charles Swearer, Wilda Barbee, Helen Simmons and Hudson Swearer

The family will receive friends for a visitation Monday, August 14, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Chimes at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. The Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Chapel of Chimes at Brookside Funeral Home followed by a burial in Brookside Memorial Park.
