Barbara D. Scholl

Barbara was born in Bradford, PA on September 13, 1926 to Louisa and Robert Dennis. She was raised in Bradford with the help of her Aunt Ruth. She attended nursing school in Pittsburgh, PA, returning home to Bradford to practice. After an introduction from her brother Bill she met and married the love of her life Pete Scholl a lifelong Texan. From the time of her wedding she said she began her odyssey to the South raising four children along the way. She had been a resident of Houston since 1970.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Pete Scholl, her parents, brothers Bill and Chuck. She is survived by her four children Catherine Scholl, Peter and Mary Beth Scholl, Susan and Mike Coakley, and Tim and Carol Scholl; 6 grandchildren Michele and Tony White, Jenn Scholl, Ryan Scholl, Patrick Scholl, Jeremy Scholl, Catherine Scholl and great grandchild Sofia White; 3 nephews, Mike and Susie Dennis, Chris Dennis and Bill Dennis Jr., and their mother Betty Dennis.

The family will receive visitors at the Memorial Oaks Funeral home at 11:30 AM on Saturday September 27th followed by a memorial service at 12:30 PM. A private interment will follow.
