Barbara Lynn Morrell

Barbara Morrell, 53, of Houston, Texas joined the angels in heaven August 15, 2012. Her family and friends were by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord. She was born to Horace and Helen Zeigler of Kirbyville, Texas on August 14, 1959. Barbara was currently teaching special needs children at Northhampton Elementary for 10 years and prior to that at Kirbyville Junior High. She also was known as "Mrs. Coach" to the Klein Broncos in Spring, Texas where she supported her husband, his coaching staff and young football players for over 12 years. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her husband and singing Karaoke with her friends whenever she had the chance. She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Helen Zeigler. Barbara leaves to cherish her memories: husband, Chris Morrell; sons, John Jones, Christopher Morrell; daughter, Jessica Morrell; siblings: Betty and Tommy Fussell, Charlotte Roberts, David and Sheila Zeigler, Danny & Jill Zeigler; along with many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5-8PM on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home Grand Chapel. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider donations to Women Heart or American Heart Association.
