Barbara Ann McDonald, 91 of Veranda House 5129 E. 5th St., Katy, Texas 77493, passed away on June 29, 2017. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on August 1, 1925 to Charles and Vera Friend. She was married to Albert Steen for 8 years and remarried to Roy E. McDonald for 18 years. Barbara had a career in the Airline Industry for Flying Tigers, American Airlines and Eastern Airlines. She was a member of the Flight Club, Airline Stewards & Stewardesses Association and The River Pointe Church. She had a passion for traveling and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charles & Vera Friend, granddaughter Kimber Renee Sutton and great-grandsons Jason Boettner and Quint Roane
She is survived by her son James E. Steen, daughters Carole Steen Lucia, Deborah Steen Schexneider, Kimberle Ann Sutton, Kyle Diane Brussich and 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service for Barbara Ann McDonald on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a reception to follow at Forest Park Wesheimer Funeral Home 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, and Texas 77077.
