Barbara Lynn Lenart

Barbara graduated from John H. Reagan High School. She met the love of her life Raymond D. Stuart Lenart at Sam Houston University and married on April 13, 1964. Barbara had a career as an office manager at the center for student with disabilities at the University of Houston. She had a passion for cooking, gardening, online shopping, spending time with her grandchildren, watching Survivor, and Wheel of Fortune.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lenart; parents Leslie and Jessie Scamman.

She is survived by her son, Raymond Lenart and wife Diana Lenart; grandchildren, Tony Garcia, Niko Lenart, Alicia Garcia, Gabriel Garcia, Olivia Garcia, Kayla Cuellar, Sofia Lenart and Sebastian Lenart.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Sunday, January 15, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home. A graveside service will occur Monday, January 16, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
