Barbara worked for British Petroleum. She was a kind, loving, woman of God and leaves behind a legacy that will forever be cherished.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents and son in law Charles Ussery.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Clay Hunt; 4 children, Ray Hunt, Michael Hunt and wife Tina, Sandra Young and husband Delbert, and Janet Ussery; 6 grandkids, Brittney Zeagler, Emily Villarreal and husband Blake, Jared Hunt, Clay Young, Brandon Ussery, Breanna Ussery; and 6 great-grandkids, Connor Zeagler, Lexi Villarreal, Corbin Zeagler, Adalyn Villarreal, Riley Villarreal, and Creeson Zeagler.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039. A committal service will occur Wednesday, April 3, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, TX 77039.
Serving as pallbearers are Jared Hunt, Blake Villarreal, Connor Zeagler, Clay Young, Delbert Young, Corbin Zeagler and Creeson Zeagler.
