Aurelia Silva, born November 12, 1940 in Matamororos, Mexico, went peacefully to be with her Lord on January 3, 2016, in Houston, Texas. Aurelia was loving, caring and nurturing to any and all who came in touch with her. Always this nurturing was done in the example of the Lord. Left to cherish her memories are: husband, Antonio Alba; son, Sergio de la Cruz; sisters, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Services will be at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Visitation is Friday, January 8, 2016 from 5-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at 10 a.m. with interment following in Brookside Memorial Park.
