Audrey "Mazie" Mazell Bullock

Mazie moved to Houston, TX in the late 1940’s and lived in Shepherd Forest for 45 years. She worked for Curtin Mathison Scientific for 35 years until she retired in 1986. Mazie loved caring for her family and cooked dinner for her husband and son every Sunday. Her care and generosity also spilled into providing this food for her neighbors. Mazie loved animals and loved to feed the birds that would visit. Over the years, she also had cats and dogs. Her hobbies included sewing, music, and reading the newspaper and magazines collecting historical artifacts. Mazie was a gracious, loving, kind Christian to all those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy (Bill) Kyle Bullock; son, Jerry Wayne Pruitt; brothers, Carl Capers and his wife Edna, Jimmy Capers, and Herman Capers.

Mazie is survived by her grandson, J.D. Pruitt; several nieces and nephews; and her close friends.

All services will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 beginning with a visitation from 10-11am and the funeral service to begin at 11 am at Pat H. Foley & Company. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
