He was born in Pasadena, TX on February 27, 1971. He is survived by his charming, talented, good looking daughter, Jazalyn Shalah Reyes, his mother, Delores Garcia, and Anthony Alaniz, Chris Garcia and Jason Garcia. What I learned from my father was that life is short, and often brutal, and the best way to combat all that is with a good laugh and an ability to appreciate the small moments of joy, despite any circumstances.
