Arturo Sanchez Rios, age 75, entered into rest on November 27, 2017 in Houston, Texas. He was born October 3, 1942 to the late Rita S. & Francisco Rios in Edcouch, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Elisa R. Rios, children Alice Rios, Debbie Rios, Arturo Rios, Jr., and his wife Elizabeth Rios; grandchildren, Lee Sudduth, Stella Rios and Elianah Rios; siblings, Arnoldo Rios, Diana Lozano, and Ruben Rios. Arturo worked for the United States Postal Service for 37 years. He was a devoted man of God, a very generous and kind person with a heart of gold. He was a positive and loving man to all that were fortunate to know him and he had a great wit and sense of humor that will be missed. An avid sports fan, he watched with pride and joy as his Houston Astros finally won the World Series. All services will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation beginning at 8:30-10:30 am, Funeral Service at 10:30 with a reception to conclude.
