Arthur Valencia, age 65, born June 17, 1956 in Houston, Texas, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Arthur was loving, kind, big-hearted and his laughter was contagious. He loved his family and was always there if you needed someone to listen without judgment, to give advice and just loved to sit and chat. There was never a dull moment when you were with Art. Arthur loved big and his loving presence will be missed and never forgotten.
Arthur is preceded in death by his father Luis Medina Valencia, brothers George “Dragon” Valencia and Edward Valencia.
Arthur is survived by his mother Erlinda Bernal Valencia, brothers Luis Valencia, Jr. and Robert Valencia (wife Diane Leal Valencia) and sister Linda Valencia. Nieces and nephews: Elizabeth “Leisa” Valencia Stefan, Erica Valencia, George Valencia, Jr., Elisia Valencia, Miguel Valencia and Christine Leal. Great nieces and great-nephew: Amber Valencia, Jade Colunga, Robert Colunga, Nyellie Quintana and Reyna Quintana.
A public visitation for Arthur will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo Navigation, 2516 NAVIGATION BLVD, HOUSTON, TX 77003. A visitation private family will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, Texas 77003. A graveside service will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Valencia, George Valencia Jr., Miguel Valencia, Jade Colunga, Robert Colunga, Sergio Valencia, Edmundo Valencia and Robert Arnold .
