Antonia T. Osorio-Leal

Antonia T. Osorio-Leal, age 105, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, August 16,2023 surrounded by her family and care givers. She always provided love and support for her family and was a woman of faith whom always believed in the power of prayer. Grandma Toni was the foundation of the family including several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In her lifetime she held several supervisory positions included a seamstress instructor during WWII, Gold Medal Coffee Co., and University of Houston/Library. Her family loved to gather around as she told the funniest and most amazing stories from her childhood. She had a great sense of humor, laughing so hard she could hardly breathe and her little eyes would squint so small you could hardly see them. Up until the end she played a mean game of dominos and would always win, also loved to work in her word search books. Grandma always had such a positive outlook on life. Her loved ones will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. Although we will greatly miss her, we know she is now with Our Lord & Savior, and dancing with her family.

She is survived by daughter, Anna Guerrero (Spouse Adam); sons, John Osorio Jr. (Spouse Mariana), Ignacio Osorio (Spouse Adriana) amd George Osorio (Spouse Jessica). 12 Grandchildren, 23 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great Grandchildren.

Antonia is preceded in Death by her Father, Sebastian Trevinio; Mother, Refugia Trevinio, maiden name: Garcia; brothers, Abel, Antonio, and Edward; sisters, Evangeline, Guadalupe and Maria.

Serving as pallbearers are Ignacio Osorio Jr., David Aguilar Jr., Adam Anthony Guerrero III, Matthew T. Buentello, James Saavedra Jr. and Ever J. Gutierrez.

A visitation for Antonia will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and a Rosary to take place at 7 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023. A funeral service mass will occur Thursday, August 23, 2023 from 10:00 am, at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd. Pearland, TX 77581. A graveside service will occur Thursday, August 24, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Street, Houston, TX 77023.
