On December 14, 1985, in Houston, Texas, a son was born to Michael and Trivia Douglas.
He gave his life to Christ at a young age and was baptized at Brookhollow Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ralph Douglas West. He was a faithful, active member in the drama ministry, and participant in the youth department.
Anthony attended grade school in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. After high school, he attended Lonestar College where he started his basic studies.
With his knowledge and skills, Anthony found employment with Natura PCR. Anthony loved his company and his colleagues. He started as a sorter, worked his way up to operator before Jon Stephens saw what a hard working young man he was and took him under his wing and taught him exactly what he was looking for. Jon took a chance on Anthony, and through hard work, strong work ethic and commitment, Anthony was proud to be considered Jon’s protege. From there, he quickly navigated a way through many positions, ending with Shift Supervisor after his return to PCR. He knew he had the knowledge to make it to the top (just not in finance!) and never let anyone forget it. He always had everyone’s best interest in mind, wanted better for those close to him, and he even found a way to bring deserving friends and family up with him.
If you knew Anthony, you know he enjoyed life, family, friends, and being with his fur babies: Gucci (RIP), Duke, Rico, & Junie B. Nothing brought him more joy than being a loving husband to Amanda Fox Douglas, a wonderful father to London, Messiah & Mackenzie Douglas, a brother’s keeper to Corey, MiKayla, Masion & Skylar Douglas, a son to his bonus moms Celicia Brignac & Gwendolyn Roy, and a cherished grandson to Hope Douglas.
Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aaron & Anna Ford, Uncle Aaron Bernard, Uncle Darrell, Aunt Bebe, and Great Grandparents Delbert and Dorothy Whyte.
He leaves, to cherish his memories, his parents Michael & Trivia Douglas; his wife Amanda Fox Douglas; his children London, Messiah & Mackenzie Douglas; sisters MiKayla, Maison & Skylar Douglas; brother Corey Douglas; grandmother Hope Douglas; uncles Robert and Richard Douglas; brother and sister in law, Jason and Christine Skeete; best friends Ikeythia Herron and Jeremiah Thompson and a host of aunts, uncles, god mother, good sisters, god brother, and many more relatives and friends.
A visitation for Anthony will be held Saturday, April 15, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at PARADISE NORTH CHAPEL, 10401 West Montgomery Rd, Houston, Texas 77088, followed by a funeral services from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
