Annsley was a loving friend and a mother who touched the lives of so many. Raised in Jasper, Alabama, she graduated from LSU in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in International Trade and Finance. She worked in sales for several companies and as a fundraiser for the United Way.
After moving to Houston in 2010, she founded a successful handbag and accessories business called Presmer—a portmanteau of her children’s names, Preston and Palmer. In addition to being a businesswoman, a beloved mother, daughter, and sister, Annsley loved the Lord and was strong in her Christian faith.
Her children were the light of her life. She is survived by her son, Preston Popov; her daughter, Palmer Popov; her husband of twenty-four years, Christopher Popov; and her parents, Stan and Lee Eggers. She is also survived by her sisters, Kendal O’Hare, and Camden Mims.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock in the afternoon until six o’clock in the evening on Sunday, the 2nd of February, in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
