Annie Marie Etheridge

Annie Marie Etheridge expired on 10/13/2011 after a prolonged and painful illness. She was born on April 25, 1920 to Rena and Claud Graff of Wynne, Ark. She met her husband, Dr. Wade Etheridge, in high school and accompanied him on field trips in football and basketball. She was involved in Glee Club, the Debate Club, and the Music Club. After a courtship of 3 years, she married Dr. Etheridge and this marriage lasted 73 years. She is survived by: her husband; 2 children, Ann Wadette Mayer and Patricia Etheridge; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Her hobbies were golf, bridge, and growing flowers. She was always fond of the outdoors and greenery. She was always a very kind and considerate person and always interested in helping others. She was also an accomplished pianist, delighting others when she performed at recitals. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and her many friends.

Visiting hours will be at Forest Park Westheimer from 3 until 5 pm on Saturday, 10/15/11 and funeral service at 12 pm on Sunday, 10/16/11, to be officiated by Rev. Martin Mikelson, Jr.
